To provide a seamless and personalized experience, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you create an account using Apple, Google, or Email, we collect your basic profile information, such as your name, email address, and a unique user ID. This is necessary to identify you and sync your data.
• User-Generated Content: Any data you create in the app, including task titles, notes, due dates, tags, projects, subtasks, and progress, is stored securely to enable synchronization across your devices.
• AI Interaction Data: When you use our AI Assistant features, the text and/or images you provide as a prompt are sent to our AI service provider for processing. We may log the prompt and the AI's raw response, linked to your user ID, for debugging and service improvement purposes.
• Onboarding Information: During setup, we may ask you about your productivity goals, challenges, and feature preferences. This helps us personalize your initial experience.
• Purchase Information: If you subscribe to Tudu Pro, our payment processor handles the transaction. We receive information about your subscription status (e.g., active, expired, trial) to unlock Pro features. We do not see or store your credit card details.
• Analytics Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, such as which features you use and which screens you visit. This data is linked to your user ID to help us understand user behavior, identify bugs, and improve the App.
• Calendar and Reminders Data (Optional): If you grant permission, the App will access your Apple Calendar and/or Apple Reminders to create, read, and update events or reminders related to your tasks. This data is only used for the sync functionality and is not stored on our servers for other purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide the core functionality of the App, including creating, managing, and syncing your tasks.
• To authenticate your account and secure your data.
• To process your commands with our AI Assistant and generate relevant responses.
• To analyze usage patterns and improve the App's features, performance, and user interface.
• To manage your Tudu Pro subscription and provide access to premium features.
• To communicate with you about your account or app updates.
• To sync your tasks with Apple Calendar and/or Apple Reminders, if you have enabled these integrations.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party services to provide our App. These services have their own privacy policies, and we only share the data necessary for them to function. Our key providers are:

• Firebase (by Google): Used for account authentication, cloud data storage (Firestore), and secure backend infrastructure.
• Google Gemini API: Powers our AI Assistant features. Your prompts (text and images) are sent to Google for processing.
• RevenueCat: Securely manages in-app purchases and subscriptions. We use it to verify your Pro status across devices.
• PostHog: Provides product analytics that help us understand how the App is used, allowing us to build better features and fix bugs.

4. Data Security and Retention

We use industry-standard security measures, such as encryption, to protect your data. Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account, all your personal data and user-generated content will be permanently deleted from our servers in accordance with our data deletion process.

5. Your Control and Data Rights

You have control over your data. Within the App's settings, you can:

• Sign Out: You can sign out of your account at any time.
• Delete Your Account: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action is irreversible.

6. Acceptable Use of AI Features

Tudu Pro plans are intended for personal, individual use. The plan includes a generous provision of AI-powered features. We reserve the right to implement rate limiting to prevent abusive or automated usage that could degrade the service for other users. This policy ensures a high-quality, responsive service for everyone.

7. Children's Privacy

Tudu is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
